Irina “Iru” Khechanovi, also known as Iru (in all caps), is a Georgian singer and songwriter. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song “Candy Music” as a member of the girl group Candy. She won the fifth season of The Voice Georgia in 2023, earning the chance to represent Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, which will be held in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Khechanovi was born in Tbilisi on December 3, 2000. She is of Armenian ancestry. She competed in several singing competitions as a child. As a member of the girl group Candy, she represented Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia, on her eleventh birthday. With 108 points, the group won the tournament.
