Malte Myrenberg Gårdinger (born 23 July 2000) is a Swedish actor and musician. He is best known for his role as August of Årnäs in the Netflix series Young Royals. Gårdinger was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He is the son of Swedish television personality Pontus Gårdinger. He began acting in his mid-teens, appearing in various productions in both English and Swedish. In 2016, he starred in the short film #Will, for which he was nominated for Best Actor at the Hamilton Film Festival.
In 2021, Gårdinger gained international recognition for his role as August of Årnäs in the Netflix series Young Royals. The series became a critical and commercial success, and Gårdinger’s performance was praised by critics. In addition to his acting career, Gårdinger is also a musician.
