Lee Hyun-wook is a South Korean actor born on June 17, 1985. He is best known for his roles in the television series Hell Is Other People (2019), Mine (2021), and Remarriage & Desires (2022). Lee developed an interest in acting while in middle school. His parents opposed his career choice, but his grandmother helped him enroll in an acting academy. He graduated from Anyang Arts High School and the Korea National University of Arts.
Lee began his acting career in short films, including Repatriation (2000), The Camel (2008), Thorn Hearted (2010), and The Out Boxer (2011). The latter earned him the Face in Shorts Award at the 10th Asiana International Short Film Festival in 2012. In 2013, Lee was appointed special jury member of the 11th Asiana International Short Film Festival alongside Lee Jung-jae.
Lee made his television debut in the 2012 drama series I Do, I Do. He has since appeared in several other dramas, including The Good Detective (2020), Search (2020), and #Alive (2020). In 2021, he gained recognition for his role as Lee Han-soo in the drama series Mine. He followed this up with a leading role in the 2022 drama series Remarriage & Desires.
